Intermountain Healthcare Central Laundry -

Like most laundry management teams that are operating in today’s competitive marketplace,
the management philosophy of Intermountain Healthcare’s Central Laundry is a belief that
there is always processes that can be improved. This attitude drives us to constantly search
out new and innovative ways to further develop our process and become more efficient.

Eleven years ago, we completed a major plant renovation project to help us prepare for
significant volume growth. We were tasked with finding a materials handling company that
would help us design a rail system that would enable us to save significant floor space and
improve the materials handling of our over 20 million pounds per year (and growing)
healthcare processing facility.

Our team evaluated several materials handling systems and made the decision to purchase
FLM’s system based on the ability to reduce our usage of valuable floor space, expertise to
help us design a system that would communicate with all of our other equipment, accessibility
to FLM’s owners and management, skilled and knowledgeable installers/technicians, easy to
use employee interface as well as many other important factors.

Since the installation of the FLM Soiled/Clean materials handling system eleven years ago,
we have undergone two major upgrades to our materials handling system and FLM is a
valued and trusted partner. Their team does not sell us unnecessary parts/equipment, they
are always professional, they make sure to explain all of the pros and cons of our options
and parts and supplies are always delivered to us promptly.

We have been partners with FLM for many years and have appreciated working with a
company that is committed to providing fresh new ideas that are helping their customers
to achieve their materials handling goals.
